The ski area Goldeck is approximately 15 mins drive away, with opportunities further afield being Ankogel, Mölltal Glacier, Katschberg approximately 30/45 mintues away.

In summer there are many hiking opportunities directly from the door or further afield to Seeboden and Millstatt. A good variety of cafè's, restaurants and entertainments await.

The A10 motorway is approximately 5 mins.

Klagenfurt airport - approximately 1 hour. Salzburg or Ljubljana (Slovenia) airports - approximately 1½ hours.
